Flatten PDFs
Turn a filled-in form into a plain document. Field values, comments and other annotations become part of the page and can no longer be edited.

Form fields
| Field | Type | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
files required | file(s) | – | One or more PDFs. Each is handled on its own; several come back as a ZIP. |
flatten=true also works on merge, split and the
Office route.
Example
curl --fail-with-body \
--header "Authorization: Bearer $PDD_KEY" \
--form files=@signed-application.pdf \
--output application-final.pdf \

Flattening is useful before archiving, or before sending a form back to someone who should not change the answers. To fill a form, fill it first (in your application or a PDF library), then flatten it here.
